Here at Mantra Hindmarsh Square, we are committed to embedding sustainability into every facet of our daily operations. We recognise that sustainability is an ongoing journey and are continually striving to reduce our carbon footprint wherever possible. Below are some of the initiatives we have implemented to date.

Dry Amenities

We are delighted to share our ongoing commitment to reducing single-use plastics in our guest rooms. As part of this initiative, we have made a significant decision to eliminate single-use dry amenities, taking a bold step towards a plastic-free environment.

We understand the importance of preserving our planet for future generations. By removing single-use plastic amenities such as toothbrushes, combs, and shower caps from our guest rooms, we are significantly reducing our environmental footprint. Instead, guests can request dry amenities by calling room service or visiting our friendly team at reception.

Large Amenities

As part of our ongoing efforts, we have made the proactive decision to move to large format amenities, replacing our single-use plastic common amenities with eco-friendly pump dispensers throughout the hotel. By eliminating single-use plastic bottles, we are significantly reducing the amount of waste generated by our operations. This commitment aligns with our dedication to environmental stewardship and reflects our ongoing efforts to improve sustainability in all aspects of our hotel.

Mantra Hindmarsh Square is committed to supporting the local community in which we operate, and wholeheartedly believe in fostering economic growth, preserving local cultural heritage and creative meaningful connections with our neighbours.

Our dedication to preferencing local businesses and suppliers, incorporating local experiences and prioritising goods and services from local suppliers is paramount to our success.

We acknowledge the traditional custodians of the Adelaide Plains, the Kaurna people and pay respect to Elders past and present. We recognise and respect their cultural heritage, beliefs and relationship with the land on which we live and work.


At Mantra Hindmarsh Square, we strive to accommodate the diverse needs of all our guests, including those with mobility challenges. While we currently have 9 dedicated accessible rooms, our open-plan apartments are designed with spacious layouts to provide ease of movement and comfort for all guests.

Our apartments feature wide doorways and corridors, allowing for easy navigation with mobility aids such as wheelchairs or walkers. The open-plan design ensures that there are no barriers or tight spaces that could impede movement within the living areas, bedrooms, and bathrooms which have walk in showers.

We also have dedicated accessible car parking spots, that have direct access to guest floors from the car park through dedicated lifts. Guests can also have access to in house wheelchairs if required.

Additionally, our friendly staff are available to assist with any specific accessibility needs or requests to ensure that every guest enjoys a comfortable and memorable stay with us.
